The Model EJ-8L is a multi-input adapter that accepts unbalanced line level inputs from a wide variety of audio/ video devices for input into an existing PA system,while providing the necessary matching, isolation and balancing for protecting the sound system. The EJ-8L also acts as a mixer when accepting signals from more than one source at the same time.

The EJ-8L is similar to the EJ-8 except it has line level output instead of mic level output.

The EJ-8L comes with everything required to connect virtually any audio source to the line level input of an existing sound system.

The EJ-8L is a completely passive device, no batteries or external power sources are required for operation.

The EJ-8L features a volume control, phone and phono jacks, binding posts, and a hum switch. An assortment of interconnect cables and a nylon carrying case come attached to the EJ-8L. A complete instruction manual comes stored in a pocket of the carrying case.

Architects’/Engineers’ Specifications: The multi-Adapter box will accept mono or stereo line and speaker level inputs; converting all of the signals to a transformer balanced line level output. The adapter box must have an adjustable output control, and a hum removal switch. All interconnect cables must be attached to the unit, and a padded zippered case must be provided for protection and for transportation. An operations manual must be provided and stored in the carrying case. The size of the adapter box must be 6.6” L x 2.5” W x 3.0” H, and its’ weight should be 1 lb. 12 oz. The multi-adapter box must be an Emtech Model EJ-8L.

Warranty:
Emtech Electronics, Inc. warrants the Model EJ-8L for a period of two years, from the original date of purchase, against defects in parts and workmanship. If a defect occurs, the unit will be repaired or replaced, at our option, free of all charges if delivered prepaid to the factory. Warranty does not extend to finish, appearance, abuse or defects due to the misuse or operation under other than specified conditions, nor does it extend to incidental or consequential damages. Repair by anyone other than Emtech will void the warranty.
