The Model EJ-10 is a multi-input adapter that accepts any input signal line or speaker level input from a variety of audio/video devices, including an analog telephone. It then inserts the signal into an existing PA or music system, while providing the necessary matching and isolation protection for the sound system.

The EJ-10 provides everything required to connect a telephone, VCR, phonograph, tape player, guitar , projector, PC , CD player, DVD player, radio or other audio source, to the microphone input of a PA system. Virtually any input signal can be accommodated , required including a speaker level input of up to10 watts.

The EJ-10 is a completely passive device, no batteries or external power sources are required for operation. 

The EJ-10 features a volume control, RJ-11 modular input capability jacks, phone and phono jacks, a hum switch, and a telephone seize switch. In the telephone line mode, the EJ-10 seizes the telephone line for continuous use. An assortment of interconnect cables and a nylon pouch come attached to the unit. Basic instructions and a block diagram are imprinted on the front panel. A complete instruction manual comes stored inside a pocket of the carrying case.

Architects’/Engineers’ Specifications: The Multi-Adapter box will accept mono or stereo line and speaker level inputs, and will allow a seized connection to the local telephone system; converting all of the signals to a transformer balanced mic level output. The adapter box must have an adjustable output control and a hum removal switch. All interconnect cables must be attached to the unit, and a padded zippered case must be provided for protection and for transporting the unit. Basic instructions with a block diagram must be imprinted on the front panel, and an operations manual must be stored in the carrying case. The size must be 9.0” L X 6.5” W X 3.0” H, and its weight should be 2 lbs. The multi-adapter box will be an Emtech Model EJ-10.

Warranty: Emtech Electronics, Inc. warrants the Model EJ-10 for a period of two years, from the original date of purchase, against defects in parts and workmanship. If a defect occurs, the unit will be repaired or replaced, at our option, free of all charges if delivered prepaid to the factory. Warranty does not extend to finish, appearance, abuse or defects due to misuse or operation under other than specified conditions, nor does it extend to incidental or consequential damages. Repair by anyone other than Emtech will void the warranty.
